Plateau United coach Abdul Maikaba has revealed some of the club’s plans and targets ahead of their participation in the coming season’s CAF Champions League.
In a chat with brila.net, Maikaba says they have been talking to other NPFL clubs with a better continental experience as they prepare to face the incoming challenge of the Champions League.
“We have been asking our colleagues the problem they have faced, and in terms of the players, we are trying to bring in more players like four to five players to make sure we are ready for the competition,” He told brila.net.
Maikaba also revealed the club’s target for the competition is to reach the semifinals stage, although, all efforts will put in place to qualify from the group stages as the first hurdle.
”Our target is the semi-finals but first thing first, we will try to get out of the group stages.”
