Nigeria and Africa top table tennis player Quadri Aruna has expressed delight after progressing to the round of 16 for the first time at the ongoing International Table Tennis Federation world championship in Houston Texas following a 4-3 win over Indian’s Sathiyan Gnanasekaran after the previous 3rd round exit in Hungary.
Aruna who is currently the only African remaining in the men’s singles in Houston said in a chat captured by www.playplay.ng while speaking with ATTF media that he is excited to have achieved this feat for the whole of Africa and he believes Nigerians will also be proud of him while he wants to continue to progress.
