‘Cyriel Played Fantastic’ –Feyenoord Boss Raves About Dessers After Win Vs Slavia Prague

Feyenoord Rotterdam manager Arne Slot has nothing but praise for Cyriel Dessers after the forward inspired a 3-1 win against Czech side Slavia Prague in Thursday night’s UEFA Europa Conference League second leg tie.
Dessers scored twice on the night with Feyenoord progressing to the semi-final 6-4 on aggregate.
The forward outstripped the Slavia defence to open the scoring with a low shot in the second minute.
The Nigeria international got his second of the game a minute before the hour mark slotting home after intercepting Aleš Mandous’ clearance.
“Cyriel played fantastic today. With high pressure from the opponent he functioned excellently as a point of contact today , but he also knew how to create chances himself,” Dessers told the club’s official website
The striker has scored eight goals in eight appearances in the competition for Feyenoord this season.
