Former Nigerian winger, Garba Lawal believes the list of invited players by Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro to face Sierra Leone for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers are capable of picking the maximum six points against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome.
Recall that in the early hours of Saturday morning, the Portuguese tactician named a 25-man squad that include two Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) players.
They include Adewala Adeyinka of Akwa Ibom goalkeeper and Faisal Sani of Katsina United to the squad.

In a chat with PlayPlay.ng, Lawal said that Peseiro has invited some of the best legs for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
“The list of invited players by Jose Peseiro for the upcoming qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome has little or no question marks.
“However, you can’t invite everybody to the team. I am most impressed with the performance of the NPFL players and I hope they will also play a key part against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome.”
