Alex Iwobi has showered praise on teammate Victor Osimhen, describing the striker as a relentless competitor whose mentality sets him apart at the highest level.
Speaking about Osimhen’s approach and intensity, Iwobi highlighted the forward’s fearless style of play and unwavering commitment on the pitch.
“Osimhen is a true warrior; he’s an amazing guy. In training, he’d stick his head in for every ball, even at the risk of getting injured,” Iwobi explained.
“With his work ethic alone, he creates positions that can change the fate of a match single handedly.”
Iwobi went further to emphasize that Osimhen’s rise to the top comes as no surprise.

“I’m not surprised by the position he’s in right now. No matter who the opponent is whether it’s Virgil van Dijk or some amateur he never backs down. He did it against van Dijk too, mate!
“He plays the Champions League with the same winning drive as a neighborhood pickup game. He always wants to win, and that mentality of his is unbelievable, bro.”
