Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho has described Celtic’s achievement of winning two trophies within a week as “crazy” after helping the club secure victory in the Scottish Cup final.
Iheanacho was on target as Celtic defeated Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 to lift the Scottish Cup.

Reacting to the triumph, the forward expressed his delight and praised the collective effort of the team throughout the season.
“We won two trophies in the space of a week, it’s crazy. I am really happy. I believe, I have my faith and it was a crazy season.”

“The effort everyone put in, God knows we really deserved it. Maybe some people deserved it more than us, but we are lucky enough to have it and we will cherish it for the rest of our lives.”
Iheanacho enjoyed an impressive debut season with Celtic, registering nine goals and one assist across all competitions.
The Nigerian forward is expected to meet with the club’s management at the end of the season to review his contract situation.
