Scribe of the National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballers Austin Popo has stated that the Players Union is working with the NFF on a proposal to have intermediaries before contracts are signed in league football in Nigeria.
Popo speaking in a chat with www.playplay.ng said the Players Union have become concerned and feels strongly that the only way to mitigate the consistent problems of contractual breakdown is to disabuse the practice of having players go alone to sign a contract with clubs without been duly represented and guided by an intermediary.
