Former Nigeria U20 player, Abubakar Ghali, has been included in the Slovakian Fortuna-Liga team of the week.
Ghali opened his goal account for AS Trencin in their 3-2 victory over FC Nitra at the weekend.
Abubakar doubled his team lead in the 23rd minute as Trencin grind out their first League win in six matches.
For his efforts in the game, Abubakar Ghali has now been rewarded with a place amongst the best players in the Slovakian League for last week.
This is the second time the former Flying Eagles midfielder would make the team this season.
The 20-year-old who previously has two assists to his name said, told the press after last weekend’s game that he’s looking forward to scoring more goals for the team.
