Vice President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation Babs Ogunade has stated that the Nigeria Basketball Federation is in contact with 2020 NBA All-star team member Bam Adebayo.
Adebayo plays for NBA side Miami Heat and the NBBF are in contact with him in a bid to convince the 2017 NBA draft to consider playing for Nigeria despite his eligibility to play for the USA.
Ogunade speaking in a chat with www.playplay.ng said the Nigeria basketball Federation has been on a scouting mission on recruiting and monitoring the best Nigerian hands playing the game in the NBA as well as in Europe but are highly hopeful of securing the services of one of Miami’s rave of the moment Bam Adebayo whose side are still locked on a final battle in the NBA finals with Le Bron James’ Los Angeles Lakers.
