Sered Slovakia and Nigerian goalkeeper Yakubu Mathew has stated that he is unperturbed after been overlooked for selection by national team handlers ahead of next month’s AFCON double-legged qualifiers against Sierra Leone.
Yakubu speaking in a chat with www.playplay.ng said the invited players are good enough and can only wish them well to deliver in the task ahead while he will continue to work hard as well at the club level to be on the radar for consideration for national team assignments in the future because he sees himself as part of the team already despite not been invited this time.
