Rivers united boss Stanley Eguma has charged the League Management Company of Nigeria on league sponsorship citing that having a pioneer sponsor for the league will be key in fixing a lot of administrative bottlenecks in the league especially in the areas of scheduling.
Eguma told brila.net that the situation of things will improve generally once there is a league sponsor. He added that he is convinced finance must have been at the heart of a number of challenges faces by the League Management company hence the need to work more on making the league attractive to woo sponsorship.
“By now LMC should have a pioneer sponsorship, a major sponsor that will sponsor the league, I know some of these things are a result of lack of funds to execute the league and everything in place.”
