Sadiq Umar is confident UD Almeria can start new campaign with in positive results Cartagena.
Almeria will start their 2021-2022 Spanish Segunda Divsion Campaign against Joan Sicilia’s side at the Estadio Municipal Cartaganova on Monday.
Almeria narrowly missed out of promotion to the elite division last season and they will be hoping to go one step further this time.
The Rojiblancos will be banking on their Nigerian import who netted 22 goals in 44 appearances last campaign.
Speaking to the Club’s website, Sadiq said they are ready to go all out for the three points against Cartagena on Monday.
“We’re ready to go to Cartagena and bag the three points,” the striker told the club’s official website.
Umar netted two goals in five for Almeria in the pre-season games.
