Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku has completed a sensational return to Chelsea in a club-record £97.5million move from Inter Milan.
The former Man United striker rejoined Chelsea on a five-year contract worth around €12-13 million-a-year net (about £195,000-a-week after tax). It will make him the highest earner at the club, closely followed by N’golo Kante.
The 28-year-old underwent a medical in Italy on Monday before flying to Nice, where his agent Federico Pastorello announced an extension to their representation agreement until 2023.
Lukaku, however, will miss the premier league opener against Crystal palace on Saturday.
