2019 All African games men’s Table tennis Gold Medalist Jide Omotayo has hailed the heroics of Nigeria and Africa’s top table tennis star Quadri Aruna after a record-setting run at the ongoing world table tennis championship in Houston Texas where he became the first African to reach the quarter-final of the competition.
Omotayo speaking in a chat with brila.net said the achievement will certainly motivate himself and other top players in Africa.
He also revealed that Aruna has been a motivator and one he looks up to personally while stressing that this will certainly help others aim high.
