Defender William Troost-Ekong says the Super Eagles is looking forward to another great game against Guinea-Bissau on Saturday.
The Super Eagles started their 2021 African Cup of Nations campaign with an impressive win over Egypt on Tuesday.
The team will now face Sudan in their next group game, and Ekong said Nigerians should expect another masterclass from the team.
“I think the whole team defended well against Egypt and didn’t give many chances away. So it was a fantastic performance from the boys.”
“We will continue with the same work ethic and professionalism.”
“Every game is different, but Nigerians should expect good performance from us and hopefully, we will make them proud.” He said.
Nigeria sits top of Group D with six points — two more than Guinea-Bissau and Sudan. Egypt occupies the bottom of the table with zero point.
