Rest those legs, Mo!
In an update posted by Middle Eastern reporter Ismael Mahmoud on Manchester City’s Omar Marmoush skipping international camp for Egypt in June to play for City in the FIFA Club World Cup, the journalist also added that Mohamed Salah will be doing the same for Liverpool, without the whole playing in a tournament no broadcaster wants.

That’s something that will greatly benefit Liverpool FC if Mohamed Salah eventually puts pen to paper on a contract extension as expected. If he does, Salah should be at preseason training camp from Day 1.
Mo is still in incredible shape, but he is obviously advancing in age, and being more careful with his minutes can’t hurt. Next year, there will also be AFCON, so Liverpool will again have to prepare for an absence as the Egyptian King tries to lead his country to glory if the player is still an LFC player.
