Former Nigeria and Asec Mimosa player Abdul-Akeem Ogunlade has backed the Peoples Elephant to overturn the 3-0 deficit against El Merreikh in today’s clash.
Ogunlade told brila.net that overturning a huge deficit is possible as it happened during his playing days at Julius Berger in Lagos.
“Enyimba can change the score line because nothing is impossible in football, even if it is four goals to nill, it can be changed,” he said.
“Difficult but it’s possible, I remember in 1993 when we played against Wack of Morocco – in our own situation we scored one away goal, and we won in Lagos by four goals to one so, I believe nothing is impossible when it comes to football its just about their mindsets. ” he said.
