Watford coach, Roy Hodgson, has hailed Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Dennis’ performance in the Hornets’ home defeat to Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday, PlayPlay.ng reports.
The Hornets lost 2-1 to Brentford at the Vicarage Road and they sank deeper into relegation trough.
Christian Norgaard put Brentford 1-0 up in the first half and Dennis equalised in the 55th minute, but Brentford captain, Pontus Jansson, scored a late winner in the 95th minute.

In his post-match press conference, Hodgson commended Dennis for his impressive showing despite Watford’s home loss.
“I thought today was one of, certainly his better games, not only individually but also as a team player,” Hodgson remarked.
“And Dennis, I think, will feel quite pleased with his performance.”
Dennis has scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 30 Premier League games for Watford so far this season season.
Watford are currently19th in the Premier League table, on 22 points from 32 matches.
