Relive Sunday all over again with the Inside Anfield against Tottenham
It’s been nearly 72 long hours since the euphoria of watching Liverpool Football Club win their 20th league title. People have expected us all to just go back to work the next day, like it was just a regular Monday.
If you, like me, are still trying to chase that high, you can sate some of those cravings through the Inside Anfield footage released on the Liverpool YouTube channel. It’s a doozy, totaling almost 40 minutes. As is typical of these videos, we get to see the reaction for every goal scored in the game. And since there were five of them by the Reds, it took some time.
It begins with red mist as the team bus slowly made its way through the packed streets. Then comes the pregame warm up. The video does a good job of showing the way that the crowd was buzzing before a player even stepped onto the pitch.
We get to hear the captain give a bit of a pep talk and then it’s game. I don’t think I have to tell you what happens next.
Somehow I foresee myself having a free 40 minutes to rewatch this for the next few weeks until we finally get to see van Dijk raise the cup.
